Big Kahuna's Water Park admission includes all-day general admission with unlimited access to all water park attractions. You'll also have access to complimentary tubes and life jackets throughout the park.
Yes, a large onsite parking lot and drop-off area is located near the entrance. Rates are $7 Monday–Thursday (excluding holidays) and $10 Friday–Sunday and holidays. VIP parking is available for $20.
Yes, height requirements are enforced for guest safety and vary by ride. Guests must be at least 42 inches tall to ride Raging Rhino River, Thunder River, and Kowabunga Racer, 44 inches tall for Tiki River Run, and 48 inches tall for Jumanji, Maui Pipeline Speed Slides, and Honolulu Half Pipe. Height requirement signage is posted throughout the park to help you plan your day.
Yes, Big Kahuna's is designed for all ages, with kid-friendly areas and attractions throughout the park. Children ages 2 and under get in free. Please note that children under age 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. It is strongly recommend that minors (under age 18) be accompanied by an adult.
Big Kahuna’s Water & Adventure Park offers limited accessibility accommodations, including zero-depth entry at select attractions like Crocodile Flats, Buccaneer Cove, and Bombs Away Bay, as well as transfer lift access at certain rides such as Humunga River. Guests are welcome to bring their own wheelchairs or ECVs, and some cabanas are wheelchair accessible. Because accessibility varies by attraction, we recommend contacting the park in advance or speaking with staff on arrival to plan your visit.
Remember to bring your towel and sunscreen! But if you forget, just go to the Big Kahuna’s Tiki Gift Shop for these essentials plus clothing, jewelry, and souvenirs of all kinds. Bottles and containers brought into the Park for an infant must be plastic. Also, children who wear diapers are required to wear a swim diaper for health and safety reasons. Swim diapers are available in the gift shop. Only Coast Guard approved floatation devices are permitted. Inflatable devices, as well as suits with attached or enclosed floats, are not permitted.
Proper swimwear must be worn on all rides and attractions. No street clothes and no bathing attire with buckles, belts, rivets, metal or cut-off jeans permitted. For guest safety, no masks, snorkels or swim fins please.
Lockers are available to rent in three different sizes for a nominal fee. All-day lockers may be rented at the Locker Kiosks located across from the changing rooms on the entry walkway across from Honolulu Halfpipe and at Bombs Away Bay. No rental fee on tubes or life jackets.
Same-day re-entry is permitted with a valid handstamp.
Yes, you may bring your camera, although there is a high probability of it getting wet. No cameras or video devices allowed on the rides.
Outside food, drinks, and coolers aren’t allowed. But don't worry, Big Kahuna's has plenty of options inside the park, including the Gulfview Food Court and Bombs Away Bay Cafe.
Pets are not allowed at Big Kahuna’s, but trained service animals are welcome. Service animals must remain under the control of their handler at all times and are not permitted on rides or in water attractions. Relief areas are available outside the park, and guests are responsible for their animal's care and supervision during their visit.
