Does this tour have any physical requirements?

Yes, each rider must weight at least 100lbs and no more than 260lbs. Riders must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or anything that may impair balance. You should be prepared to stand for the length of the tour and be able to shift your weight from side-to-side while bending your knees and hips.

What is included in the tour?

The tour includes the use of a Segway, a helmet, a professional guide, and a 15 to 20 minute training session/orientation.

How many people will be on the tour?

The tours are capped at 10 participants for maximum enjoyment.

Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes. For the safety of their customers (group tours) and the protection of their staff, the minimum age for participation is 12 years of age. Training is provided to all persons and passing a skills test is required. A parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver for their child. It is up to the discretion of the Tour Guide to deem a complete understanding of the operating procedures by every participant.

What should I wear?

You should wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and flat, closed-toed/backed shoes. No high heel shoes or flip-flops, please. You will also be required to wear a helmet (provided).

Can I reschedule the tour due to inclement weather?

Texas weather can change in a heartbeat so please stay tuned on the day of your scheduled event. Transport Yourself will provide a 2 hour notification of delays, rebooking or cancellations in the event of inclement weather.

Are gratuities included?

No, tips are not included in the tour price but are always welcome. The standard recommendation is $15 to $20 per person.

Can I take photos from the Segway?

For your safety, please refrain from taking photos or video while operating a Segway. Your tour guide will take photos of your group and airdrop, text, email or share them with you on social media.
