Chicago Crime Tours offer luxurious 90-minute tours of the Windy City, revealing some of its darker history of infamous criminals and gangsters. Guests can ride comfortably in luxury, climate-controlled bus while learning about Al Capone, John Dillinger, Terrible Tommy, and more, while seeing famous crime scenes, like the Biograph Theatre, Clark Street Bridge, Holy Name Cathedral, and more.

The tour starts and ends OUTSIDE 163 E. Pearson St. (SE corner of Pearson and Michigan Ave). The Chicago Crime Tour bus is red and yellow.
How early should I arrive?Arrive at least 10 minutes early to check-in with tour guide. Names are on the guest list.
How long is the tour?The tour is approximately 1.5-2 hours, subject to traffic and weather.
Is there nearby parking?Paid parking is available in nearby public garages, including Water Tower Place. Water Tower Place parking is accessible from Chestnut Street. Standard rates apply.
Is this tour kid friendly?All ages are welcome. Recommended for ages 10+.
How will we be seated?General seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. Joint seating is not guaranteed.
What places will we visit?They visit places of criminal historical significance in the Magnificent Mile, Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, River North & Loop neighborhoods.
Will we see actual physical crime scene locations?Most of the crime scene locations still have an existing structure or building.
Do we get off the bus?Yes, guests get off the bus multiple times, subject to traffic, weather, and time. Dress weather appropriate. Walking may be up to a city block.
Are restrooms available?Please use the bathroom before the tour starts. There are no bathrooms on the bus.
Are the tours wheelchair accessible?All are invited to participate on the tour. Please let us know in advance if you have any special needs or requests. They want to work with you. The bus has storage for collapsible wheelchairs and strollers. One of the stops includes walking up and down a stairwell.
Does the weather affect the tour?Chicago Crime Tours, at its exclusive option, reserves the right to cancel any specific tour due to extreme weather conditions and will offer customers a credit for a future tour.
