Set out on Dolphins and You’s Oahu Dolphin Tour, one of Hawai‘i’s most popular marine adventures. Cruise from Waianae Harbor to watch wild Hawaiian spinner dolphins glide and leap through the ocean. Then, snorkel in clear tropical waters filled with sea turtles and colorful fish. Onboard, enjoy Hawaiian traditions with a hula performance and the E Ho Mai chant while relaxing on a comfortable luxury vessel.

Enjoy the sea kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and a new, 20-foot waterslide! Enjoy complimentary lunch bentos and choose between turkey sandwich, PBJ, or spinach wrap.

Frequently Asked Questions about Dolphins and You

What should I bring with me?

Bring a swimsuit (worn under your clothes), towel, reef-safe sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses.

Is dolphin sighting guaranteed?

Dolphin sightings are common, but they are not guaranteed, as dolphins are wild animals.

What if I can’t swim?

Life vests are provided, and the crew is safety-certified. Non-swimmers can still participate comfortably.

What is the water temperature in Hawaii? Will I need a wetsuit?

Ocean temperatures range from about 77°F (25°C) in winter to 82°F (28°C) in summer. Wetsuits are available to rent for $5 per person (paid at check-in).

Can I bring my own camera?

You may bring your own camera on board. But they recommend letting our professionals capture your experience so that you can fully enjoy your tour without worrying about getting the shot! If you want to bring a camera underwater, make sure it is waterproof and that it floats. Dolphins and You offer professional photography for an additional $79 (charges will be collected at check-in.) The photo packages usually contain around 300 over- and under-water shots of the entire tour, including everyone on board. They document the experience from beginning to end.

Is there a restroom onboard?

Yes. There are restrooms on the boat, as well as facilities at the harbor before departure.

Can a person in a wheelchair participate?

No. The boat and shuttle transportation are not wheelchair accessible. Guests must be able to board the vessel and move safely in an open ocean environment.

Can pregnant women participate?

Pregnant guests may join but should use caution, especially in later stages of pregnancy, due to boat movement and ocean conditions.

Is alcohol available on the tour?

Yes. Canned alcoholic beer is available onboard for guests of legal drinking age.

Are tips required?

Gratuities are not required but are appreciated. A tip jar is available at the end of the tour.
