Germaine's Luau typically lasts about 3 hours. The gates open at 5:15 pm and the luau begins at 6:00 pm. You can expect to return to Waikiki by 10pm.
Yes, this luau is family-friendly and fun for people of all ages. Children age 3 years and under are admitted free but they must sit on your lap on the bus if there are no extra seats. At the luau, they are able to sit in their own seat and are given a small plate for the dinner buffet. Please bring your own baby carrier or stroller as the venue does not have any high chairs at the luau.
The majority of tables are picnic-style with benches and you will be sharing them with other guests. If you require a chair with a back, please contact the venue directly and they can arrange to have one for you.
Germaine's Luau offers an option for round-trip transportation from pre-determined designated hotels throughout Waikiki. Please select the ticket options that include transportation. If there is not a designated pick-up at the hotel you are staying at, please contact the number on your e-ticket and they can arrange for pick-up at a nearby location which is normally within a 5-minute walk.
Yes. Gates open at 5:15 pm. There is an on-site parking fee of $5.00 per vehicle.
Yes, although the luau is completely on the beach, they have some areas where the sand is more compact and with the assistance of your family, you are able to access this area. The use of motorized scooters is discouraged since several have been damaged in the past due to sand getting into the motor. Germaine’s Luau will not be held responsible for any damage. Please contact the number on your eticket as soon as possible if you are bringing a wheelchair on the bus for they may need to reserve a specialized vehicle with their transportation company and these special buses are not always available.
Germaine's Luau can order a special “stir fry” dish for you with advanced notice. Then you can go down to the buffet line to select any other dish that you may desire.
Generally, Germaine's Luau does not operate in harsh weather conditions because they are outside. They suggest calling the day of your show if you are concerned about the weather via number located on your eticket.
The Original Luau package includes a shell lei greeting, standard drinks, a Hawaiian-American buffet dinner, and non-reserved seating. The Plumeria package provides a kukui nut lei, first-in-line dinner service to Hawaiian-American dinner buffet, premium drinks, Plumeria Express Bar window from seating to the Wedding Song segment in the Main Show. a souvenir gift (1 per adult) and reserved VIP seating to enjoy the show.
A light jacket and comfortable shoes with casual Aloha attire are recommended, such as a casual Aloha shirt and jeans or shorts.
