Description

Get a true taste of Moab’s rugged beauty on this short but thrilling half-day canyoneering tour. Perfect for adventure-seekers, the route combines hiking, rappelling, down-climbing, stemming, and sometimes wading or swimming through stunning desert terrain.

Moab’s dramatic slot canyons, hidden pools, and sculpted sandstone make it an ideal setting for canyoneering. Unlike simple rappelling tours, this active experience engages your whole body as you descend into remote, awe-inspiring canyons far from the beaten path.

No prior experience is needed—just a spirit of adventure. Certified guides provide full instruction and supply all technical gear, including helmets, harnesses, and belay devices. Routes are selected by guides each day based on group ability and current canyon conditions, ensuring a safe and rewarding experience.

Please note: All participants must complete the rappels; there are no bypass options or early exits. Ensure all members of your group, including children, are physically prepared for this type of activity before booking.

For your convenience, hotel pick-up from most centrally located Moab hotels and campgrounds is available upon request. Alternatively, you are welcome to meet at the NAVTEC Expedition office on Main Street 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
