Simply put, iFLY is flying; you will soar on a column of air inside a vertical wind tunnel. The vertical wind tunnel moves air up in a vertical column, creating the indoor skydiving experience.

iFLY is the world leader and most experienced company when it comes to vertical wind tunnels. iFLY uses superior technology and is unique; multiple fans located at the top of the flight chamber produce powerful airflow that is smooth and fun to fly in. The air flow is totally controllable. This, combined with professional instructors, makes for the most exciting flight experience possible.

You will learn how to fly your body in a controlled manner with the assistance of your instructor. Professional flight instructors will provide you with all of your flight gear, along with the fundamental skills for body flight through a classroom training session. All you have to do is get ready to smile because this will be the most exciting thing you have ever accomplished!

Skydivers love freefall because it's the closest possible thing to true human flight. Now everyone can experience the same exhilaration, in a safe environment, in full view of family and friends!

Everything that you need for a flight experience is waiting for you at iFLY Houston Memorial. No experience is needed, just a sense of adventure and a yearning for the supreme personal flight experience. The innovative sport of body flight is always new and always exciting.

The entire process lasts roughly 90 minutes. Each flight package includes not only your flight time, but also your pre-flight training and gear rental. Guests must be ages 3 and up and weigh under 300lbs to participate.

What should I wear?

Please wear well-fitting, lace-up sneakers, or running shoes. Other shoes are not suitable. Wear casual clothes, preferably pants and a shirt without a collar. You won’t have to change out of these clothes—you'll put your flight suit on over your street clothes. Individuals with long hair should wear it braided and in a low bun.

Is indoor skydiving safe?

Yes, the iFLY vertical wind tunnel uses superior technology to produce smooth wall-to-wall airflow that is safe to fly in. Certified flight instructors will also ensure safe and enjoyable flight sessions—your instructor will be with you throughout your flight, regardless of your experience level.

Is there a weight restriction?

Yes, participants must not exceed 300lbs. For the safe experience of guests and instructors alike, individuals weighing between 260–300lbs are subject to additional evaluation by the local staff to determine if they can be accommodated.

Are there any health restrictions?

For your safety and comfort, iFLY will not permit you to fly if you are pregnant or have a hard cast or hard prosthetic that cannot be removed. Additionally, individuals who have a head, neck, back or shoulder injury, heart condition or other health condition that may impede their ability to participate, should not fly.

Is parking available?

Yes, complimentary parking is provided on-site at the iFLY Houston Memorial facility.

Can I bring my pet with me?

Pets are not allowed in the facility for safety and hygiene reasons. Please leave your furry friends at home or with a trusted caretaker.
