Good To Know

An exciting experience with two flights in the top-notch wind tunnel, each lasting 60 seconds—similar to the 45-second freefall portion of an actual skydive!
The total experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours from start to finish.
Children aged 3 and up can join in on the safe fun of flying with the instructor's watchful eye.
Flyers must not exceed 300lbs. Individuals weighing between 260–300lbs are subject to additional evaluation by the local staff to determine if they can be accommodated.
Wear casual clothes and snug-fitting lace-up sneakers or running shoes—you'll wear a flight suit over your clothes.
The goggles are roomy enough to be worn over eyeglasses, but remember to secure your hair in a braid or low bun to fit the helmet.
Flying is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, have non-removable hard cast/prosthetics, head, neck, back, or shoulder injury, or have a heart condition.
Flyers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign their flight waiver.

At iFLY, you will learn how to fly your body in a controlled and supported environment with the guidance of a trained instructor. Professional flight instructors provide all necessary flight gear and teach the fundamental skills of bodyflight through a pre-flight classroom training session. Skydivers love freefall because it’s the closest experience to true human flight. Now, everyone can enjoy that same exhilaration in a safe environment, in full view of family and friends.

The entire experience lasts approximately 90 minutes. Each flight package includes flight time, pre-flight training, and gear rental. Guests must be at least 3 years old and weigh under 300 lbs to participate.

How similar is it to real skydiving?

The indoor skydiving facilities of iFLY recreate the freefall portion of a skydive with its recirculating wind flow, similar to skydiving flight experiences. Skydivers worldwide use wind tunnels as training facilities because of their similarity to the real thing.

How long is a flight in the vertical wind tunnel?

Each flight within the wind tunnel lasts 60 seconds. When jumping from an airplane, the free fall portion lasts approximately 45 seconds. Your admission includes two (2) one-minute flights. The total experience lasts roughly 1.5 hours, including check-in, the training session, flight time, and time after your flight to remove gear and look at photos and video if interested.

Is there a weight restriction?

Flyers must not exceed 300lbs. Individuals weighing between 260–300lbs are subject to additional evaluation by the local staff to determine if they can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions may apply.

Are there any health restrictions?
