Knott’s Berry Farm opens at 10 am every day of the year except Christmas Day. Closing times vary. Please check the park's operating calendar in the ticket section above for operating hours during your travel date range.
Parking at Knott's Berry Farm is $25 for cars and $30 for Buses and RV’s. The parking lot opens at 9:00 am each morning.
Animals are not allowed inside the park with the exception of service animals.
Smoking is not permitted inside Knott's Berry Farm. For the convenience of all the guests, smoking of any kind, including vapor and e-cigarettes, is only permitted in the designated smoking area near the park’s main entrance. You can refer to the park map for specific locations during your visit.
Unopened and empty water bottles, baby food and food for guests with special dietary restrictions are permitted. No other outside food, drink or snack items are permitted in Knott's Berry Farm or Knott's Soak City.
Items prohibited in the park include radios, stereos, luggage, and coolers larger than 1’x1’x1’. Additionally, no outside food items will be allowed to be brought inside Knott's theme park or Soak City water park. Please note that all backpacks, purses and bags are subject to inspection at the park's main entrance. During Knott's Scary Farm, guests may not bring bags larger than 6.5” x 4.5” x 2” of any kind including purses, backpacks, or diaper bags into the park.
Convenient exit and re-entry is available throughout the day of your visit by the hand-stamp provided upon exit of the theme park.
Reentry is not permitted into the parking lots for single-day parking passes.
No, Knott's Berry Farm has one price admission as it is a multi-faceted park, not just a ride park. Live entertainment abounds at the park with several fun-filled shows and roving characters and performers. The park also offers a variety of gift shops, restaurants and much more.
Single and double-seat strollers, manual wheelchairs and battery-powered wheelchairs are available inside Ghost Town next to the Geode Shop. Rentals are on a first-come, first served basis for a minimal daily charge, plus deposit. Quantities are limited. A limited number of electric wheelchairs or strollers can be reserved in advance by calling the park directly.
Different size lockers are available inside the park near Ghost Rider in Ghost Town for a rental fee of $15 - $25 depending on locker size.

Safety of the guests and associates is their number one priority. Guests arriving at the park will go through metal detection every public operating day. All bags, purses, backpacks, waist packs, etc. will be examined prior to entering. Sharp objects (including pocket knives and metal chains), firearms, or other items that could be considered a weapon are strictly prohibited and should be left at home or secured in your vehicle. Knott’s does not tolerate guests who fight and/or harass other guests while on our property.

They have cashless payments throughout the park. The parks have multiple Cash-to-Card kiosks located throughout to allow you to convert your cash to a prepaid card with no fee. Leftover funds can be used anywhere VISA is accepted. There are six ATMs at Knott's Berry Farm. They are located: outside the Main Entrance near the ticket booths, at Lee's Last Stop Service store near Xcelerator, inside Classic Candy near the Charleston Fountain in the Boardwalk area, at Peppermint Patty's Candy Cabin in Camp Snoopy, inside the General Store in Ghost Town and at Emporium in the California Marketplace.
