The Lu`au Kalamaku is located on the grounds of the Kilohana Plantation just west of Lihue along Highway 50 at 3-2087 Kaumualii Hwy, Lihue, Kauai, HI 96766.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow for parking, check-in, and exploring the venue. If availing round-trip transportation, plan for an earlier pickup to ensure a smooth arrival. For those availing of the train ride or interested in the artisan craft fair, arriving even earlier is recommended.
Plan on spending about 3.5 to 5 hours total.

Luau Kalamaku offers Hawaiian, Silver, and Gold Packages to suit different preferences. The Hawaiian Package includes standard seating, while Silver offers elevated views and Gold provides premier seating near the stage. Packages can also include round-trip transportation, a scenic train ride, or both for added convenience.

The Plantation Railway Train Ride is a 40-minute narrated tour of the historic Kilohana Plantation grounds aboard a full-size train. You'll pass stands of original island crops like mango, banana, papaya, pineapple and more, plus a stop to spend some time feeding pigs and goats. It's fun for all ages. This feature is only available for select packages with a train ride option.
The optional Train Ride boards approximately 130 minutes (a little over 2 hours) before the main luau show begins at the Depot. Please note that the Kilohana Plantation Train Ride package is separate from the round-trip transportation package.
Wear weather-appropriate attire and footwear. As the event is held outdoors, consider bringing a light jacket.
Yes, the luau operates rain or shine since it is held in a covered, open-air pavilion. In cases of severe weather, the luau may adjust or cancel performances for safety.
