Located on Ford Island, Hawaii, the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum occupies two massive World War II-era hangars that house the museum's impressive collection of vintage aircraft. Expect to spend up to two hours or more viewing the battle-damaged air field and control tower of historic Ford Island before setting foot inside the hangars. The museum covers 75+ years of Pacific aviation history, beginning with the attack on Pearl Harbor. Docents are available throughout the museum to answer questions and tell stories. Free guided audio tours are also available.

Museum hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. Guests may present their ticket for entry any time between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. The Museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year’s Day.
While there is no official dress code to visit the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites, visitors are asked to dress appropriately and respectfully. Swimsuits are not acceptable. Flip flops and sandals are permitted; however, visitors are encouraged to wear close-toed shoes, as there is a lot of walking when visiting the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites.

Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is located on historic Ford Island, an active military base that is accessed by shuttle bus from the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Free shuttles depart approximately every 15 minutes from the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. The last shuttle returning visitors to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center leaves the Museum at 5:00 p.m.
Photography is allowed at our Museum. We are located on an active military base, so please be mindful of any areas that are off-limits for photography, including the Admiral Clarey Bridge that you come across to gain access to Ford Island.
The tour takes approximately 60 minutes.
For security reasons, no bags are allowed on the shuttle bus to Ford Island. A bag storage facility, located at the Bowfin Submarine Park shuttle bus stop, can store your belongings for a fee of $6.00 per standard bag or $$10 per bag for oversize luggage.
