Frequently Asked Questions about Sandcastle Waterpark

Do infants require their own tickets?

Children ages 3 and under are admitted for free and do not require a ticket. All guests ages 4 and older require a ticket.

What is the park's chaperone policy?

Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by parents or adult guardians at all times. The park does not assume responsibility or liability for minors left unattended.

What is the dress code?

To maintain a family-friendly environment, guests must wear appropriate swimming attire at all times. Provocative/revealing swimwear, clothing or tattoos displaying vulgar, offensive, violent, sexual, or divisive/hateful material are strictly prohibited. For safety reasons, masks, costumes and clothing with buckles, belts, rivets, or metal are prohibited. Hats, glasses, loose jewelry, and shoes are also not permitted on most rides.

Can I wear my eyeglasses?

Some attractions may allow the wearing of eyeglasses but only with a head strap attached. Please refer to the safety rating information posted at the front of each attraction for specific details.

Can I bring outside food and drinks into Sandcastle Waterpark?

You may bring unopened, non-alcoholic drinks and food that are medically necessary for you or anyone in your group, including food for diabetics, baby formula, gluten-free/allergy-safe foods, and more. Sandcastle does not permit hard coolers, glass or alcohol, fast food, or commercially prepared food outside the park. Please keep these items in your vehicle and use the picnic tables located outside of the park. Feel free to enter and exit as many times as you like throughout the day.

Does the park allow smoking or alcoholic beverages?

Outside alcoholic drinks are not permitted inside but you can buy beer and other alcoholic beverages at Sandbar, Cocomo Joe's, and The Bridge Bar and Grill. Smoking is limited to the designated section by the Mushroom Pool on the lower entertainment deck. Please ask a Sandcastle team member on site for further information.

Are pets allowed?

Only ADA-defined service animals are allowed inside the waterpark.

Is the water park wheelchair accessible?

The water park is ADA-compliant and most of the attractions and restaurants are accessible to guests with disabilities, including, among others, those using wheelchairs.

What happens during inclement weather?

The waterpark may temporarily close rides during certain inclement weather conditions, such as lightning, high winds, earthquakes, and more. Management may direct guests to designated areas or request that they leave the park altogether for their safety.
