New Arrivals and Growing Family
Zoo Atlanta continues to welcome new residents, adding even more excitement to your visit:
  • Seng – A male Siamese crocodile who arrived in March 2026. As a representative of a critically endangered species, Seng now resides in the Scaly Slimy Spectacular exhibit.
  • Nafis – A male Schmidt’s guenon who joined the troop in November 2025. You’ll find him in the mixed-species monkey habitat in the Ford African Rain Forest.

Yes, stroller rentals are available at Safari Outfitters at the following rates: - Single stroller: $11 + tax - Double stroller: $13 + tax Rates are subject to change without notice.

Can you bring food into Zoo Atlanta?

Yes, Zoo Atlanta allows outside food and drinks. Please note that glass containers, alcohol, and straws are prohibited. Straws are not permitted for the safety of the animals.

Can I bring my pet?

Only service animals are allowed. Zoo Atlanta’s Service Animal Admittance Policy defines service animals as dogs or miniature horses who are trained to perform a specific task for an individual with a disability. Emotional support animals and other animals are not permitted on zoo grounds.

What items are prohibited to bring?

The list of prohibited items include: weapons or sharp objects, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, straws and lids, drones, fireworks or explosive substances, skateboards, bicycles, and non-motorized scooters. Other restrictions may apply.
